Who has the best fast food?

One of the most heated debates on the internet today is who has the best burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches and anything else you can eat at a fast-food restaurant.
So, I’m going to be pitching my opinion about the best burger, best fries, and the best ice cream/milkshakes out of all fast-food restaurants.
Best Burger:
For those who know me the best, you know I have a deep obsession with Five Guys, so of course I’m going to be a bit biased when saying this. Five Guys makes the best burger in all of the fast-food industry. First off, they do something that several don't: double patties. This adds the element of more juiciness because even though the patties themselves are relatively thin, when you put two of them on top of each other it makes up for the thinness. One of the most important methods to have a well-tasting burger is the juiciness it contains. The next thing that makes a burger exceptional is the toppings. Five Guys has a choice of 15 toppings spanning from ketchup to bacon to grilled onions to relish to mushrooms and beyond. Lastly, the buns are put on the grill to have that extra crispiness that really does a lot for a great hamburger. McDonald’s burgers are just flat out tasteless and disgusting. Burger King might be known for its burgers, but I would not want to eat a thin, uncooked piece of meat. I know you might be wondering where In n Out is, but the truth is I’ve actually never been to one so I’m unable to share my opinions about it. If you are ever in the mood to have a thick burger with excellent toppings, go to Five Guys.

Best Fries:
Unlike their burgers, McDonald’s fries actually contain taste. And unlike burgers, I think fries should be thin, known as “shoestring” The amount of salt that they put on it really pushes it over the edge because once you eat one, you want to eat one million of them. Also, they put an addicting type of oil on them, so when you mix that with the salt, you’re never going to stop eating them. According to cheatsheet.com, the #1 reason why they are so delicious is because of the smell. I 100% agree with that statement. For example, just yesterday I went to the drive-thru and right when we got the bag, my stomach growled. Now to compare to others: Burger King has the same type of fry, but they are lacking the most important thing, salt. Five Guys has the salt down, but sometimes they can be a bit undercooked due to the fact they are so thick. Shake Shack also has pretty dense fries, and just like Five Guys, they might be undercooked and the salt just takes over the actual flavor of the fry itself. Chick Fil A nails the flavor, but I just prefer shoestring fries over waffle fries. Overall, McDonald's does everything right with their fries.

Best Milkshake:
It is named after it, so most likely they have amazing shakes. And they have for sure lived up to their name. Shake Shack has been famous for these milkshakes ever since they first opened in July 2004. You have a variety of flavors to choose from, with the most basic being vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Other flavors are coffee, cherry, caramel, black and white, and peanut butter. I think it’s safe to say that McDonald's or Burger King have peanut butter shakes. The other part of their successful shakes is because it is quite dense and thick, which I find crucial for a milkshake. Shake Shack also has creamy whipped cream that greatly balances out the strong flavors. McDonald's has their own milkshakes, known as the McFlurry. These are excellent as well, but they are actually too small compared to Shake Shack. Five Guys shakes can be a bit tough to finish because the amount of sweetness of the flavor combines with the sweet whipped cream which can be overwhelming to some. Shake Shack simply does everything right when it comes to the shakes.

After reviewing each portion, I would give the award of the best fast food restaurant to Five Guys. besides for their world-class burgers, their fries are definitely the second best, and the shakes are third overall.
